Does a connected charger work without an internet connection?
Yes, for the essentials: charging itself does not depend on the connection, and dynamic load balancing works locally between the sensor and the charger. Remote control, the history viewable from the app, updates and supervision, on the other hand, all require a connection. A one-off outage therefore does not stop you from charging.
What is a MID meter, in practical terms?
It is an energy meter built into the charger and certified under European metrological regulations.
